Three new TV offices announced

The multi-channel broadcaster behind the television channels Dave, Gold and Yesterday, UKTV has announced it will locate 10 specialists in a �television innovation hub� in Leeds, enhancing the broadcaster�s content distribution capabilities.
Chief Technology and Operations Officer, Sinead Greenaway, said:
�Leeds was chosen because it is one of the UK�s most accessible cities with superb transport links, and it is fast emerging as a creative hub, with over 1,350 tech companies based in the area. It is also home to two large universities, offering access to young talent keen to enter the industry.�
Wise Owl Films
A new non-scripted label is to be launched in Leeds by Liverpool�s Lime Pictures with Shiver founder Mark Robinson. Wise Owl Films describes itself as �a popular factual production company�.
Mark Robinson said:
�This is an incredibly exciting time to be making shows in the North of England � and in particular in Leeds. It feels like a city whose time has finally come; we�re determined that Wise Owl is going to be at the heart of it all, playing a key part in the next step of Leeds� journey.�
Endemol Shine North rebranding as �Workerbee�
Endemol Shine North is rebranding to reflect their operations as an increasing global business, and launching a brand new Leeds office. The Leeds office will focus on producing true crime and documentary content, opening its doors in 2019, led by executive producer Darrell Brown.
Rick Murray, Workerbee Managing Director said: �It�s an exciting time for the business. We are growing, we are opening a new office in Leeds, we are expanding creatively.�
Following Channel 4�s announcement to open their National HQ in Leeds City Region, a number of creative media businesses have announced their decisions to locate in the region.
