New Office Development for Leeds City Centre
Situated between Whitehall Road and No1 Whitehall Riverside, the site provides excellent transport link as it is located only 400 metres from Leeds train station with good connections to the Leeds City Centre ring road.
Plans drawn up by Cartwright Pickard Architects detail seven floors of office space above ground floor with predominantly glazed elevations designed to maximise natural light. The floor plans are orientated to the Whitehall Road side of the building to ensure an active facade which will be lit at night.
In addition to the office block, an open space is proposed on the west side of the building adjacent to Whitehall Road. This would connect the new development with the new Whitehall Riverside development.
Town Centre Securities and GMI Construction have submitted plans for an eight-storey office block set in the heart of Leeds� commercial district. The development which would incorporate approximately 75,000 sq ft of lettable space is set to be constructed on Whitehall Road close to some of the city�s best known office blocks.
