MIPIM legacy on track for Leeds City Region

Roger Marsh OBE, chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) said the scale of the Leeds City Regions vision and economic opportunity had excited delegates at the international expo.

Mr Marsh said: Leeds City Region undoubtedly had an excellent event and we continue to see our profile, momentum and position on the global stage being positively built on.

MIPIM was about showcasing Leeds City Region and its component parts on the international stage: our scale, drivers for growth, key opportunities and priorities.

The LEP, and other members of our delegation to MIPIM, have had a number of meaningful conversations with parties excited about what Leeds City Region has to offer and we look forward to continuing these over the coming weeks and months.

MIPIM gave Leeds City Region an opportunity to focus on its key drivers for growth as well as celebrate and shine a light on the world-class developments that have been constructed in recent months and that also sit within its 13bn investment pipeline to over 24,200 attendees and a wider audience of over 3million people via both traditional and social media engagement.

Mr Marsh added: As delegates who engaged with us at MIPIM discovered, exciting initiatives across Leeds City Region, coupled with the continuing strength of our commercial property market, means we provide unparalleled opportunities for inward investors.

We are determined that our MIPIM legacy moves the extremely fruitful conversations the delegation experienced from menu to meal and we are delighted to already be seeing this.
