Throughout the event, there was a clear focus upon the importance of prioritising the citizen driven health agenda, underpinned by technological advances and data, to ensure the NHS and the UK healthcare system is sustainable and future proofed.

The event saw representatives from national healthcare organisations and the private sector, including NHS England, NHS Confederation, KPMG, Genomics England and the University of Leeds, demonstrate how citizen driven health paramount to the success of the national health and innovation agenda. Interactive discussions highlighted how digital technology and large data should be both the solution and enabler for citizen driven health.
