Leeds City Region flies the flag at MIPIM UK
The Leeds City Region delegation at MIPIM UK (15-17 October 2014), the premier forum for property professionals looking to close deals in the UK market, will demonstrate to potential investors that the City Region is investment ready and driving sustainable growth. A central element of the City Region programme will see decision makers from across the North coming together to set out their intentions on driving devolution, the importance of regional collaboration and accelerating improved connectivity to enable continued growth across the North.
The bar has been set very high at this year�s MIPIM Europe and MIPIM UK is set to build on this, with the City Region�s largest private sector delegation, which is testament to the increased confidence in the property sector, strong regional leadership and a powerful and compelling programme.

MIPIM UK allows Leeds City Region to build upon the strong pipeline of investment leads developed during previous MIPIM Europe events. Lurene Joseph, CEO at Leeds and Partners, outlines the importance of Leeds City Region having a presence at MIPIM UK, the organisation�s newest property forum:

MIPIM UK is led by Leeds and Partners on behalf of the LEP and will see Bradford, Calderdale, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Wakefield and York collaborate to highlight the unique investment, development and occupier opportunities in the region, specifically those surrounding HS2, the Northern Hub and the potential for devolution.
The activity aims to establish the bold ambitions of Leeds City Region, reaching out to key investors, as well as cementing and building on the confidence and capability of the region, as previously demonstrated at MIPIM 2014. Leeds City Region�s programme of events during MIPIM UK includes a panel event, in which northern leaders will discuss building an interconnected north, as well as a private meeting with 20 key decision makers exploring future connectivity and a retail innovation showcase.
