Leeds Beckett University Strengthens Links with Hangzhou

During the visit Professor Price hosted an evening at the British Ambassador�s Residence for Chinese education partners and also attended �Global Finance Conference 2015� hosted by Leeds Beckett�s partner institution, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT).

While at the conference, the Professor addressed the official opening session and took the chance to meet with senior municipal and institutional leaders.

This visit comes a year after both institutions had celebrated a decade of delivering the Leeds Beckett MA International Trade & Finance in Hangzhou and marked the Vice Chancellor's first visit to ZJUT during the 11 years of partnership. This created a platform for building on a new agreement signed in 2014 to expand the relationship to include further research projects, as well as placement and internship opportunities for Leeds Beckett students in the city of Hangzhou and across Zhejiang Province.
