Fast growing tech start up moves to the city centre

The RotaCloud team has moved into its newly refurbished 2,700 sq. ft office space on George Hudson Street this week following a period of rapid expansion, which saw the headcount at the company almost triple during 2017.

RotaClouds rota planning software helps over 1,500 businesses in the UK and around the world resolve their staff scheduling problems.

The company was founded in 2013 by Joel Beverley, David Brandon and James Lintern in order to prevent chaotic rota management at businesses large and small.

Co-founder Joel Beverley commented on the move: York Science Park was RotaClouds home for two years, but given our current rate of expansion, we knew it was time to move on. The Science Park played a critical role in our development as a business it provided the physical space and infrastructure we needed to get RotaCloud off the ground, and well always be grateful for the help and support we received during our time there. Wed definitely recommend York Science Park to any fellow start-ups in need of a professional office environment where they can grow their business.

Our move to central York allows us to push forward with our expansion plans, helping us to improve our product and add more features for existing and new clients alike. Were excited to move into a larger office space that we hope to fill with plenty of local talent!

RotaCloud plans to double its headcount again over the course of 2018.
