Diamond Microwave is at the leading edge of compact, microwave solid-state amplifiers and technology with proven designs for pulsed high-power (GaN SSPA) and for broadband applications. Their engineering resources have broad ranging design, development, and manufacturing experience in the microwave field from 2.0GHz to 140GHz. As well as offering COTS amplifiers, Diamond Microwave also offers a bespoke design service, working closely with its clients to tailor performance and interfaces to suit challenging requirements.

We make a complex high-frequency amplifier product range, which offers less than half the size of competing amplifiers.  Their smaller size and lighter weight means it’s more suitable for use in space than traditional amplifiers.

The Diamond Microwave Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPA) are multi stage, high-power amplifiers (hundreds of watts) with internal features like thermal monitoring, health monitoring and phase adjustment. Their standard products are drain-pulsed with fast switching times. These amplifiers can be combined to provide much higher output powers designed for a wide range of civil applications such as marine radar, maritime vessel traffic control, air traffic control, port security radars,, airborne or spaceborne SAR for ground mapping and EW jamming.

Diamond Microwave’s engineers have broad ranging experience in this field, and they continue to work on improvements to bandwidth power efficiency and size.  All of their products can be tailored to suit specific performance and interface requirements.
