Weetwood Hall receives recognition at 2015 Meetings Industry Marketing Awards
Weetwood Hall hotel has been awarded a Bronze Award at the 2015 Meetings Industry Marketing Awards, at the gala presentation in QEII Centre in London. Up against some impressive global competition, the Weetwood Hall Marketing team managed to impress the judges with their creativity and secured an award in the category for the Best Print Advertising Campaign.
The accolade was awarded for the Things dont always go to plan advertising campaign which aimed to increase national awareness of the conferencing facilities at Weetwood Hall. To meet this objective Weetwood Hall utilised fun and engaging imagery and wording to make the adverts more memorable and to give people something to talk about. The campaigns success was reflected in 4% increased room hire in comparison to the previous year, 22% increased website traffic and 36% increase in traffic to the conference landing pages.
Katja Pandza, Marketing Manager at Weetwood Hall: We are extremely proud and honoured to be recognised with this prestigious award amongst the best in the meetings industry. This award is a result of the great team work here at Weetwood Hall and proves that our campaign managed to grab peoples attention by being fun and memorable. We would also like to thank our loyal partner, Raw Creative for invaluable input its team put into the campaign.
The Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) was launched in 2002 to raise the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry and to recognise the marketeers. Organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, MIMAs judging process is made up of independent judging panel, consisting meetings industry experts and leading buyers, which considers the entries and adjudicates.
