MIPIM is postponed

Statement from Roger Marsh OBE DL, Chair of the LEP, in response to the postponement of MIPIM due to the ongoing risk of Coronavirus.

Today (February 29th) Roger Marsh OBE DL, Chair of the Leeds City Region Partnership (LEP) and NP11 said:

"The health, wellbeing and safety of our Leeds City Region at MIPIM delegates is our number one priority.

"In light of Reed Midem's decision to reschedule MIPIM 2020 to 2-5 June in response to the ongoing risk of the spread of Coronavirus, Leeds City Region will now not be attending between the 9 and 13 March 2020.

"Our international profile is hugely important and MIPIM plays a significant role in helping us showcase Leeds City Region on the world stage. We are fully committed to our international marketing strategy and will do everything we can to maintain our momentum. In the meantime, I ask that we work in the spirit of the Leeds City Region at MIPIM partnership and support the delivery team at the LEP, as we work with our suppliers and the event organisers to ascertain whether we can participate in the rescheduled show. We expect this to take a few days, therefore do please bear with us."
