Leeds City Region businesses driving financial innovation

City Hall and London and partners hosting London roundtable today, strengthening links between region and capital.

Local businesses are flying the flag for Leeds City Region in London today at a roundtable event hosted by Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Enterprise.

The roundtable coincides with the annual Sibos conference, an international financial services event and a key date in the Fintech calendar. 9,000 business leaders, decision makers and experts are gathering at Sibos this week to discuss and shape the future of the UK and global financial service sector.

Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has partnered with City Hall and London and Partners to bring together key players from the capitals fintech sector and Leeds City Region to strengthen links between the capital and the region. Businesses attending include Steve Anderson, Managing Director, Infinity Works and Dan Rajkumar, Founder of peer-to-peer lending platform rebuildingsociety.com and Director at Fintech North.

The roundtable event follows a visit from the Deputy Mayor of London for Business to Leeds earlier this year to foster commercial links between London and the UK’s major cities.
