A national centre of excellence for financial, legal and professional services, and a leader in digital technologies, manufacturing, and healthcare and innovation, Leeds City Region generated a total gross value added (GVA) of £69 billion in 2017.

Fuelling this is a highly-skilled workforce and the largest concentration of higher education institutions outside of London, with nine universities producing over 39,000 graduates each year, and a booming commercial property market.

Leeds City Region is an excellent place to live. Housing is more affordable, with the average detached home in Leeds City Region around 40% cheaper than the average London apartment, and you’re never far from some of the country’s most breath-taking green space and countryside.
