Leeds' Rugby World Cup film shortlisted for a Royal Television Award

A film produced about Leeds' sporting heritage to support the city's activity around the 2015 Rugby World Cup has been shortlisted for an award by the Royal Television Society.

The film entitled ' Leeds - Truly, Madly, Rugby' was produced by Motiv Productions, shot in and around Leeds, is through to the final three in the best commercial film category of the Royal Television Society Awards. 

The film features various sporting personalities and local residents reciting a bespoke poem highlighting different aspects of Leeds in a fun and engaging way, with the aim being to highlight Leeds as a host city and a destination venue to watch some of the Rugby World Cup 2015 games.

The winner will be announced at an award ceremony on 19 June at the Royal Armouries, Leeds Dock, hosted by Nick Hewer, star of Countdown and The Apprentice.
