Haulier signs large Bradford
19 May 2015
Peckover Transport has taken a five-year lease on a 74,000 sq ft warehouse at Uppercroft Mills in Bowling Back Lane with an asking rent of £3.25 per sq ft, in what is thought to be the largest industrial property letting in Bradford this year.
Edward Marshall, director of Frank Marshall Estates, commented: "This is a very significant deal, underlining both the attraction of Uppercroft Mills as a modern industrial park and the strength and buoyancy of the West Yorkshire logistics and distribution sector.
"Peckover Transport are already tenants of ours, so it is a great pleasure to work with them again. They join quality occupiers at the 207,000 sq ft Uppercroft Mills, including Crompton Lighting, European Packaging Distribution and Sunwin Services Group."
Richard Clayton, the managing director of Peckover Transport, added: "This is the next step in our expansion plans. Over the last couple of years, due to our policy of giving customers exactly what they want, our transport and haulage operation has nearly doubled in size."
This is the latest property news which has also seen CBRE’s Leeds office report a record financial year with a 19% rise in turnover.
