Bradford Festival founder backs #4sparks
24 Oct 2017
I came to Bradford five years ago from a small town near Philadelphia. After working in the film industry, I was drawn to Bradford City of Film when I decided to further my education and pursue a Masters (currently onto a PhD). The multiculturalism, art community, and independent streak of Bradford completely captured my heart and a one year stint turned into finding a home away from home. It’s been my passion to contribute to Bradford, particularly its reputation as a City of Film, which is why I founded CameraShy, CIC which facilitates the Drunken Film Fest and Doccy McDocFest among other media related events. Channel 4 would be a welcome addition to the region, bolstering Bradford's place in UNESCO as well as adding jobs and opportunities invaluable to the community.
