Cycle to MIPIM Charity Challenge
09 Feb 2015
For the first time ever this year a member of the Leeds City Region is packing her bags, putting her feet in the pedals to tackle the Broadgate Estates Cycle to MIPIM in aid of Coram, one of the UK’s first ever dedicated children’s charities.
Trish Barton, co-director of Barton Legal and a specialist in commercial property law is one of the few lawyers signed up and the only woman from outside of the London area, to take part in the 902 mile ride. This isn’t the first time the mother of three has taken to the saddle for a long distance challenge tackling the 300 mile trek from Milan to Venice last year and the Hoy 100 one day event last September.
Trish commented, “I’m a relative newcomer to the world of cycling having become the proud owner of my first road bike last year. I’m delighted to be representing the sporting heritage and prowess of Leeds and Yorkshire. Fortunately the Leeds City Region isn’t normally a bad place to get in the saddle with the incredible scenery, however the weather this winter has ensured I’ve trained more on rollers at home than on the open road.”If you’d like to show your support, encouragement or sponsorship click here
